Round Hill Country Club;
Round Hill country club dates back to 1922, it has a modern twist on the inside and is very well decorated. It is located in greenwich, the largest town on Connecticut's Gold Coast, Greenwich is home to many hedge funds and other financial service companies. Greenwich is the southernmost and westernmost municipality in Connecticut as well as in the six-state region of New England. It is roughly 40–50 minutes by train from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan.
The location of greenwich to New York is fabulous and we will be using this to our advantages, to explore the city.
So far my first two weeks at work have been great, we started with one week of training, which was beneficial, but felt more like a recap of what we had previously learnt in Florida. There is a much smaller team here working at Round Hill, which is nice in comparison to Florida. The managers are much more approachable at this club and there is a sense of community between staff as the jobs are very shared, this encourages moral, which admirals cove was lacking.
We haven't worked any major events so far in the club, but I am looking forward to working Memorial Day and July the 4th, which Have heard will be very busy and are major in the clubs social calendar.
The club has just under 1000 members, I have seen more repeat in families so far. There is a mass family community in the club, which is shown by the clubs communal feel.
